Who We Are - And Where We Come From

Ontario's original Aero-tow Hang Gliding Flight Park - We're now in our 29th year!

Founded in 1979 we were originally called "Hang-On-Tario". We then became the "K-W Hang Gliding Club." Our last name change again reflected our Southwestern Ontario beginnings and S.O.G.A. stands for the Southwestern Ontario Gliding Association. Today we're referred to simply as SOGA and we're pleased to now boast a membership representing many of Southern Ontario's communities. Ontario's most active Hang Gliding club.
We are located just north of Belwood Lake (near Fergus) We welcome visitors and are flying most weekends and some weekdays.

We depend on our membership to keep our club healthy.

Tow Memberships - allow you to tow behind our Moyes/Baily Dragonfly. Membership is $200/year (tows are additional @ $25.00 per tow ) and are due for renewal in February of each year.
This year if your membership is received by May 1 your glider condo fee will be free.
All club members are entitled to free entrance to our annual parachute seminar where you can practice throwing and repacking you reserve parachute.

HPAC insurance
Signed club waiver

A signed club waiver is also needed.

Associate members: $40/year. You can participate in club meetings, functions, help the club out where needed and voting privileges.

4. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for King St N and merge onto King St N - 1.0 km
5. Turn right at Northfield Dr E - 17.4 km
6. Continue on Wellington Rd 18 - 6.3 km
7. Continue on Woolwich St W - 0.4 km
8. Turn right at Geddes St - 0.1 km
9. Sharp left at James St - 0.1 km
10. Turn right at Woolwich St E - 0.6 km
11. Continue on Sideroad 15 - 4.0 km
12. Turn left at HWY-6 - 2.0 km
13. Turn right at Sideroad 10 - 1.0 km
14. Continue on Jones Baseline - 0.2 km
15. Slight right at Sideroad 15 - 7.9 km
16. Turn left at 6th Line - then to
17. Side road 20 and turn left proceed till you cross
    a bridge then next right on side road 3 and its the
    3rd farm on your right
